The Challenge
Schools in Malawi were relying on manual processes, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems to manage student records, finances, and communications. This led to data errors, revenue leakage, and frustrated parents. Each school operated differently, requiring a flexible multi-tenant platform.
Our Approach
We began with in-depth research across multiple schools to understand their workflows. We designed a modular architecture where each school gets data isolation while sharing the same codebase. Development followed agile sprints with regular demos to school administrators.
The Solution
EduNexus is a multi-tenant SaaS platform with modules for student and parent records, classes, subjects, teachers, fees, payments, attendance, examinations, results, staff, boarding, payroll, expenses, and administrative reporting. Features include automated report cards, role-based dashboards, parent communication, and WhatsApp access to selected information such as results and fee balances.
